Personal History		Her father owned a restaurant in San Francisco and her mother was an elementary school teacher. Sara's father spent the first 13 years of her life trying to groom her to take over his restaurant when he retired but it wasn't in the cards. She had no interest in the business. She spent most of her free time volunteering at San Francisco General Hospital and, when she graduated high school she enrolled in college with a nursing major. Upon graduating as a Registered Nurse, she went to work for SFGH and worked her way through the specialties....excelling in Emergency Medicine and Surgical. After 10 years as a civilian nurse she joined Starfleet.
